Spotify O-EASTとDJバー・東間屋がお送りする「MIDNIGHT EAST」が、カウントダウンイベント「MNENYE」を今年も開催。
ヘッドライナーとして、今年7月にニューヨークでのBoiler Roomに出演した際にプレイした新曲”booboo”で、ダンスミュージックシーンへ待望の帰還を果たしたYaejiが5年ぶりに来日する。
O-EASTにはカウントダウンアクトにSoichi Terada、百発百中のパーティーメーカー・どんぐりず、フジロックやFFKT 、米SXSWに出演し 国内外で注目を集めるNTsKi、京都West Harlemを拠点に活動するPAL.Soundsが登場。クロージングは、近年復活し大きな話題を呼んだインダストリアル・レイブ・パーティーDK SOUNDでレジデントDJを務めるTraks Boysが担当する。
東間屋には、ソウル生まれ東京育ちというバックグラウンドを持ち、DJ/シンガーソングライターとして日本と韓国の架け橋として活躍するYonYon、D.A.N.のメンバーでありソロアーティストとしての活動も活発なJinya Ichikawa、最先端のダンスミュージックとヒップホップを発信する福岡発のパーティーlitのレジデントを務め、Seoul Community Radio、VISLA FMへも出演を果たしたsuisui、ディープハウスやダンサブルなダウンテンポを軸としながら、ジャンルレスなプレイを得意とするMILSなど、国内外で活躍を続けるアーティストたちが顔を並べる。

“MIDNIGHT EAST”, a club night series by Spotify O-EAST and DJ bar Azumaya, will host a countdown event “MNENYE” again this year.
As a headliner, Yaeji will play in Japan for the first time in five years. This year, she made her long-awaited comeback to the dance music scene with her new single “booboo,” which she debuted at the Boiler Room show in New York back in July.
At O-EAST, Soichi Terada is in charge of the countdown performance, also the beloved party duo Dongurizu, NTsKi who’s gained worldwide attentions after her appearances at Fuji Rock, FFKT and SXSW, Kyoto-based PAL.Soundsand are lined up. And Traks Boys, the masterminds of a legendary industrial rave DK SOUND will close the main floor.
Meanwhile in Azumaya, the Seoul-born, Tokyo-based singer-songwriter/producer YonYon, Jinya Ichikawa who’s known as D.A.N.’s bassist and a solo artist, suisui from the Fukuoka-based dance music / hip-hop party lit, and MIL who specialises in deep house and danceable downtempo music will soundtrack the night.
