SOLSTICE MUSIC presents : SHPONGLE "LAST GIG"

Legendary psychedelic band Shpongle are back!
Coming to Japan for the first time in 9 years with a live set by Simon Posford.
The band will also appear under the name of Harshinojen, who have released a number of classic albums.

Mixmaster Morris, one of the most important figures in the chill-out scene, will also appear.

Legendary psychedelic band Shpongle, made up of trance charismatics Raja Ram and Simon Posford, are back.

This time with a live set by Simon Posford alone, the band will visit Japan for the first time in nine years.

Spongle's original and fluid sound, which fuses elements of rock, dub, trance, ambient and tribal music from around the world to create a kaleidoscopic geometric sound world, has gained enthusiastic support from many people across all genres, ages and racial barriers.

This time, Simon Posford will perform under the name Spongle at Machine Live. Fans will be able to enjoy a live set that will feature a mash-up of familiar tracks, improvisation and the creation of new music in real time, in a full-blown 'Simon World' that is distinctly different from DJs and bands.

In addition, a live set of unique performers from traditional Japanese performing arts, contemporary art, belly dancers and more are expected to take to the stage, adding a special Japanese twist to the show.

He will also be performing under the name Hallucinogen, Simon Posford's solo project. Trance classics such as 'LSD' and 'Gamma Goblins' reverberate loudly.

In addition, Mixmaster Morris, an important figure in the international chill-out scene, will be performing.

He will perform two performances, one on the main floor and one at DJ Bar AZUMAYA.

The event will be held on two floors of Spotify O-East and at Toumaya for a grand total of three floors.

General tickets go on sale at noon on Thursday 4 April, with upstairs tickets giving access to a dedicated viewing area and drinks bar.

In addition to VJs, lighting, lasers and psychedelic decorations, this special evening features 14 of Japan's top performers.

Performers showcasing elaborate Kabuki movements, powerful lion dances, performing arts and enchanting belly dances will add even more colour to the stage for one night only.
